Tobacco 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Tobacco in Maputo: 17 units tested over 6 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Tobacco 30 ml shortfill here
The honest read on tobacco: 17 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Tobacco in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, 30 ml shortfill, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tobacco 30 ml shortfill really costs in Maputo
Tobacco 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested tobacco in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a tobacco bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing tobacco with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised MT34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.5 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is tobacco legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tobacco the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.5 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does tobacco taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
