Sweet pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Sweet in Maputo: 24 units tested over 8 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
If you are looking at sweet in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long sweet tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sweet pod kit really costs in Maputo
Sweet in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested sweet in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing sweet with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Sweet | Decides coil choice more than strength does |

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT60 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.33 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.33 per 10 ml liquid plus MT60 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is sweet legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
