Sweet cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Sweet in Maputo: 18 units tested over 4 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a cartomizer for sweet
The honest read on sweet: 18 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Sweet cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sweet cartomizer really costs in Maputo
Sweet prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.31 per 10 ml.
How we tested sweet in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.31 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sweet in Maputo survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Sweet | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | cartomizer | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 18 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT50 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.31 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does sweet in a cartomizer last?
In Maputo we measured 4 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should sweet start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
