Blackcurrant 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Blackcurrant in Maputo: 10 units tested over 7 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with blackcurrant in Mozambique
If you are looking at blackcurrant in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.09 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant 30 ml shortfill really costs in Maputo
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.09 per 10 ml.
How we tested blackcurrant in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.09 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
