Sweet 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Sweet in Maputo: 15 units tested over 4 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Sweet 30 ml shortfill here
Sweet prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.72 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at sweet in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long sweet tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sweet 30 ml shortfill really costs in Maputo
A sweet 30 ml shortfill from the cheapest options in Mozambique costs about MT2.72 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sweet in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Mixing sweet with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised MT64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.72 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.72 per 10 ml liquid plus MT64 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should sweet start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 30 ml shortfill.
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
