Spiced sub-ohm kit IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Spiced in Maputo: 6 units tested over 8 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the spiced habit
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.85 per 10 ml.
The short version: spiced in Maputo works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced sub-ohm kit really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested spiced in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a spiced bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long spiced in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On spiced the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.85 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
How long does spiced in a sub-ohm kit last?
In Maputo we measured 8 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
