Guava starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Guava in Maputo: 24 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
We run guava the same way in Maputo: same starter kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava starter kit really costs in Maputo
Guava in Maputo reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested guava in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where guava goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should guava start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On guava the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.92 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
