Spiced 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Spiced in Maputo: 17 units tested over 2 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a 30 ml shortfill for spiced
We run spiced the same way in Maputo: same 30 ml shortfill, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Spiced sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: spiced in Maputo works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced 30 ml shortfill really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested spiced in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised MT54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.95 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for spiced in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT1.95 per 10 ml liquid plus MT54 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On spiced the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.95 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
