Cola prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Cola in Maputo: 20 units tested over 9 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a prefilled pod for cola
Cola in Maputo reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: cola in Maputo works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cola prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at cola in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested cola in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where cola goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised MT44 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.42 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT44 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.42 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
