Spiced 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Spiced in Maputo: 8 units tested over 9 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with spiced in Mozambique
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Spiced sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: spiced in Maputo works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced 30 ml shortfill really costs in Maputo
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.6 per 10 ml.
How we tested spiced in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every spiced bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long spiced in Maputo survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
How long does spiced in a 30 ml shortfill last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is spiced legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
