Sourcherry 100 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Sourcherry in Maputo: 10 units tested over 3 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sourcherry habit
If you are looking at sourcherry in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 100 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: sourcherry in Maputo works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry 100 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested sourcherry in a 100 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.34 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a 100 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sourcherry tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
How much does a 100 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.34 per 10 ml liquid plus MT54 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should sourcherry start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 100 ml bottle.
