Sourcherry 10 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Sourcherry in Maputo: 24 units tested over 9 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Sourcherry in a 10 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the 10 ml bottle you buy decides how long sourcherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sourcherry 10 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Sourcherry in a 10 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested sourcherry in a 10 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 10 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sourcherry tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised MT57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.57 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Packaging for sourcherry in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should sourcherry start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 10 ml bottle.
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 10 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
How much does a 10 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.57 per 10 ml liquid plus MT57 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
