Sourcherry 10 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Sourcherry in Maputo: 18 units tested over 3 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sourcherry habit
A sourcherry 10 ml bottle from the cheapest options in Mozambique costs about MT2.87 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Sourcherry sounds like one product. It is not: a 10 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, 10 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sourcherry 10 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Sourcherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.87 per 10 ml.
How we tested sourcherry in a 10 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 10 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a 10 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
