Sour zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Sour in Maputo: 13 units tested over 6 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Sour is allowed to say
A sour zero-nicotine bottle from the value options in Mozambique costs about MT2.95 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Sour in a zero-nicotine bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: sour in Maputo works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Maputo
Sour in Maputo reaches the shelf in zero-nicotine bottle formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested sour in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sour goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.95 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a zero-nicotine bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
