Sour vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Sour in Maputo: 18 units tested over 7 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.49 per 10 ml.
Sour in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: sour in Maputo works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour vape pen really costs in Maputo
The honest read on sour: 18 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested sour in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised MT37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.49 per 10 ml.
