Sour RDA IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Sour in Maputo: 18 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run sour the same way in Maputo: same RDA, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour RDA really costs in Maputo
Sour in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested sour in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sour goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should sour start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
How long does sour in a RDA last?
In Maputo we measured 7 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
