Sour RDA IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Sour in Maputo: 20 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with sour in Mozambique
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
A sour RDA from the budget options in Mozambique costs about MT2.46 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour RDA really costs in Maputo
Sour in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested sour in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where sour goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised MT32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.46 per 10 ml.
