Sweet cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Sweet in Maputo: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run sweet the same way in Maputo: same cartomizer, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on sweet: 10 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long sweet tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested sweet in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised MT33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.12 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Sweet | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | cartomizer | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 10 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~7 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT33 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.12 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should sweet start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sweet the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.12 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
How long does sweet in a cartomizer last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
