Sour disposable vape IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Sour in Maputo: 13 units tested over 9 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Sour in Maputo reaches the shelf in disposable vape formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run sour the same way in Maputo: same disposable vape, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: sour in Maputo works if the disposable vape, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour disposable vape really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested sour in a disposable vape
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the disposable vape, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a disposable vape arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised MT42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.33 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sour the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.33 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the disposable vape units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
How long does sour in a disposable vape last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
