Sour 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Sour in Maputo: 23 units tested over 6 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good 30 ml shortfill from a repack
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.27 per 10 ml.
Sour in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, 30 ml shortfill, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

How we tested sour in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sour goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Maputo survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
