Salted sub-ohm kit IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Salted in Maputo: 9 units tested over 8 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What salted costs in Maputo
The honest read on salted: 9 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted sub-ohm kit really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at salted in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the sub-ohm kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested salted in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where salted goes wrong
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.65 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
