Salted disposable vape IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Salted in Maputo: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the salted habit
The honest read on salted: 20 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A salted disposable vape from the compared options in Mozambique costs about MT2.96 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: salted in Maputo works if the disposable vape, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted disposable vape really costs in Maputo
Salted in a disposable vape is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested salted in a disposable vape
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where salted goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.96 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest disposable vape available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for salted in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a disposable vape.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the disposable vape units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
How long does salted in a disposable vape last?
In Maputo we measured 7 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
