Salted 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Salted in Maputo: 12 units tested over 8 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Salted 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run salted the same way in Maputo: same 30 ml shortfill, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted 30 ml shortfill really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested salted in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where salted goes wrong
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Packaging for salted in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Entry kit | MT68 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.54 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
