Salted 100 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Salted in Maputo: 6 units tested over 4 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Salted is allowed to say
We run salted the same way in Maputo: same 100 ml bottle, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A salted 100 ml bottle from the online options in Mozambique costs about MT2.52 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: salted in Maputo works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted 100 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
We run salted the same way in Maputo: same 100 ml bottle, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested salted in a 100 ml bottle
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where salted goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Maputo survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
