Plum in Maputo: 17 units tested over 4 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good prefilled pod from a repack
We run plum the same way in Maputo: same prefilled pod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Plum in Maputo reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: plum in Maputo works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.

How we tested plum in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where plum goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.72 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Maputo survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
