Plum squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Plum in Maputo: 6 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plum habit
Plum in Maputo reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run plum the same way in Maputo: same squonk mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Plum squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested plum in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where plum goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Maputo survives.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT1.93 per 10 ml liquid plus MT32 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
