Melon RDA IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Melon in Maputo: 10 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
Melon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.2 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a melon RDA really costs in Maputo
A melon RDA from the starter options in Mozambique costs about MT2.2 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested melon in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where melon goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for melon in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
