Plum refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Plum in Maputo: 12 units tested over 5 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with plum in Mozambique
Plum in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum refill pack really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested plum in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where plum goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.79 per 10 ml.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How long does plum in a refill pack last?
In Maputo we measured 5 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is plum legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
