Plum 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Plum in Maputo: 18 units tested over 7 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.7 per 10 ml.
Plum in Maputo reaches the shelf in 30 ml shortfill formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum 30 ml shortfill really costs in Maputo
Plum in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested plum in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where plum goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
