Plain vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Plain in Maputo: 21 units tested over 3 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plain habit
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Plain vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 21 units, vape pen, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plain vape pen really costs in Maputo
Plain sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested plain in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plain goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.67 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should plain start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
