If you are looking at plain in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain starter kit really costs in Maputo
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.33 per 10 ml.
How we tested plain in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plain goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Maputo survives.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
