Plain prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Plain in Maputo: 12 units tested over 3 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good prefilled pod from a repack
We run plain the same way in Maputo: same prefilled pod, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plain prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
The honest read on plain: 12 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested plain in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plain goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.54 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.54 per 10 ml liquid plus MT41 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does plain in a prefilled pod last?
In Maputo we measured 3 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
