Plain mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Plain in Maputo: 20 units tested over 3 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What plain costs in Maputo
A plain mesh tank from the compared options in Mozambique costs about MT3.14 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain mesh tank really costs in Maputo
Plain in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested plain in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plain goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Maputo survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should plain start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
How long does plain in a mesh tank last?
In Maputo we measured 3 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
