Plain disposable vape IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Plain in Maputo: 13 units tested over 9 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with plain in Mozambique
If you are looking at plain in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the disposable vape you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.47 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the disposable vape you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain disposable vape really costs in Maputo
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.47 per 10 ml.
How we tested plain in a disposable vape
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a disposable vape arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where plain goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a disposable vape that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.47 per 10 ml.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should plain start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a disposable vape.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does plain in a disposable vape last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
