Mango starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Mango in Maputo: 24 units tested over 5 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
The honest read on mango: 24 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Mango prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.06 per 10 ml.
The short version: mango in Maputo works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mango starter kit really costs in Maputo
We run mango the same way in Maputo: same starter kit, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested mango in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mango bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where mango goes wrong
- Mixing mango with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mango tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
