Pear zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Pear in Maputo: 7 units tested over 6 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good zero-nicotine bottle from a repack
We run pear the same way in Maputo: same zero-nicotine bottle, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Maputo
The honest read on pear: 7 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested pear in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for zero-nicotine bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where pear goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest zero-nicotine bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a zero-nicotine bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Pear | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | zero-nicotine bottle | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 7 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~4 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT58 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.3 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does pear in a zero-nicotine bottle last?
In Maputo we measured 6 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is pear legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
