Apple 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Apple in Maputo: 9 units tested over 3 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the apple habit
Apple in Maputo reaches the shelf in 30 ml shortfill formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run apple the same way in Maputo: same 30 ml shortfill, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: apple in Maputo works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple 30 ml shortfill really costs in Maputo
Apple in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested apple in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where apple goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long apple in Maputo survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.99 per 10 ml.
