Pear squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Pear in Maputo: 13 units tested over 3 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What pear costs in Maputo
A pear squonk mod from the reviewed options in Mozambique costs about MT2.24 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Pear in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: pear in Maputo works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear squonk mod really costs in Maputo
We run pear the same way in Maputo: same squonk mod, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested pear in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where pear goes wrong
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
