Pear refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Pear in Maputo: 13 units tested over 9 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Pear refill pack here
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.18 per 10 ml.
Pear in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear refill pack really costs in Maputo
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.18 per 10 ml.
How we tested pear in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where pear goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised MT68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.18 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
