Grapey starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Grapey in Maputo: 18 units tested over 9 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
A grapey starter kit from the pre-order options in Mozambique costs about MT2.91 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run grapey the same way in Maputo: same starter kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a grapey starter kit really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested grapey in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long grapey in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.91 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
