Pear pen device IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Pear in Maputo: 11 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with pear in Mozambique
A pear pen device from the bulk options in Mozambique costs about MT2.71 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: pear in Maputo works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear pen device really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested pear in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where pear goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised MT51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.71 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is pear legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
