Peach prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Peach in Maputo: 22 units tested over 5 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with peach in Mozambique
Peach prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.6 per 10 ml.
We run peach the same way in Maputo: same prefilled pod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: peach in Maputo works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a peach prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested peach in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every peach bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where peach goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long peach in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should peach start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
How long does peach in a prefilled pod last?
In Maputo we measured 5 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
