Peach box mod IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Peach in Maputo: 23 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
Peach in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Peach prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.55 per 10 ml.
The short version: peach in Maputo works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a peach box mod really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at peach in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested peach in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every peach bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Batch code and production date, so a peach bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where peach goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long peach in Maputo survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why peach tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does peach taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the peach blend itself harsh.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.55 per 10 ml liquid plus MT31 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does peach in a box mod last?
In Maputo we measured 2 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
