Passionfruit pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Passionfruit in Maputo: 16 units tested over 4 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Passionfruit pod kit here
We run passionfruit the same way in Maputo: same pod kit, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Passionfruit in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: passionfruit in Maputo works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a passionfruit pod kit really costs in Maputo
Passionfruit sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested passionfruit in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing passionfruit with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised MT45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.17 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does passionfruit taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the passionfruit blend itself harsh.
How long does passionfruit in a pod kit last?
In Maputo we measured 4 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
