Passionfruit cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Passionfruit in Maputo: 8 units tested over 7 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
If you are looking at passionfruit in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Passionfruit sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a passionfruit cartomizer really costs in Maputo
Passionfruit prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.93 per 10 ml.
How we tested passionfruit in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a passionfruit bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.93 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Passionfruit | Decides coil choice more than strength does |

| Stock checked | 8 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT49 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.93 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should passionfruit start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
Why does passionfruit taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the passionfruit blend itself harsh.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT1.93 per 10 ml liquid plus MT49 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
