Nutty squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Nutty in Maputo: 17 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What nutty costs in Maputo
Nutty sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Nutty in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: nutty in Maputo works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a nutty squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested nutty in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why nutty tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing nutty with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.93 per 10 ml liquid plus MT37 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.

Not automatically. On nutty the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.93 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
