Mintice prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Mintice in Maputo: 20 units tested over 3 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good prefilled pod from a repack
We run mintice the same way in Maputo: same prefilled pod, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Mintice in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long mintice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mintice prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested mintice in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mintice bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.14 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Mixing mintice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Mintice | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | prefilled pod | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 20 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~4 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT53 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.14 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
