Mint vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Mint in Maputo: 14 units tested over 4 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Mint vape pen here
The honest read on mint: 14 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Mint in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, vape pen, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mint vape pen really costs in Maputo
We run mint the same way in Maputo: same vape pen, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested mint in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where mint goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
