Mint 100 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Mint in Maputo: 11 units tested over 6 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Mint 100 ml bottle here
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.83 per 10 ml.
Mint in a 100 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint 100 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested mint in a 100 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where mint goes wrong
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.83 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for mint in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
