Spiced squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Spiced in Maputo: 17 units tested over 6 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a squonk mod for spiced
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.34 per 10 ml.
Spiced squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a spiced squonk mod really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at spiced in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested spiced in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long spiced in Maputo survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On spiced the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.34 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should spiced start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
